  1. Run! by Awolnation

Skip to 2:09 for the main riff!

2. The Next Episode - Snoop Dogg & D.R.E.

Don’t ask me why but quite a few Dr. Dre songs have gone viral on social media and they’re super popular with my younger students. This is a great song for students to practice their fretboard movement and staccato.

3. The Coffin Dance

It’s actually very catchy haha! Your younger students are guarantee to know this one and have fun a tonne of fun playing it. It’s great for students to practice their string skipping too.

4. Still D.R.E. - Dr. DRE & Snoop Dogg

Another Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg song on this list. I normally get one student playing the Intro Part as another plays the Bass part. It’s super fun for everybody involved.

5. Careless Whisper - George Michael

A classic melody that works on barring and using multiple fingers. A little bit difficult for brand new beginner guitarists but your more intermediate students will love it.
